Roseburg people are welcome to attend the grand opening of the renovated Beulah Park.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held 9 a.m. Thursday at 1284 NE Beulah Ave.. Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich, workers from the Community Works Department and town councilors will be in attendance.
Beulah Park has undergone a variety of levels of renovation because February that expense near to $260,000.
New park additions include an American with Disabilities Act available playground, a resurfaced basketball courtroom, new ADA-accessible walkways, upgraded web page amenities and landscaping. A new 6.5-foot climbing wall, an Oodle swing, an O-Zone Climber, a Hurry Slide, SwiggleKnots, TightRope bridges, an Overhead Trekker Ladder, and two Wobble Pod Bouncers are also new to the park.
Synthetic grass covers the participate in space, and beneath, a layer of security foam will guard children for the duration of a drop.
Beulah is one particular of Roseburg’s oldest parks, and the renovation has been lengthy in the will work, according to Ryan Herinckx, the style and design and design supervisor for the undertaking.
